2nd Information Technology Confex — Dubai

16 October 2024 · Dubai, UAE. Spoke at the Confex, where I was also named among the Top 25 IT Consultants of the Year. Both the speaking contribution and the recognition are documented by certificates from DigitalConfex.

Construct Talks — Jeddah

29 September – 1 October 2024 · Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Centre. Talk: Digital Transformation in Construction: Accelerating Progress Through Technology — on where technology genuinely changes construction delivery, and where it is decoration. A second session at the same show, separately certificated, addressed GIS, BIM and drones in construction workflows.

What I speak about

The subjects on which I have something specific to say: why transformation programmes stall, what an ERP decision actually commits an organisation to, how technology governance can be made useful rather than ceremonial, and what enterprise AI demands of decision-making before it demands anything of infrastructure.
